A maintenance update for LoopCAD 2010 has been released (Version 2.0.4390). This release adds several refinements and addresses the issues listed below. All users of the trial and licensed versions are strongly encouraged to install this update.

  • Print button on toolbar will now print the currently selected report if already on the Report step.
  • Fixed issue where interior doors and windows would still render on 3D view when interior walls were hidden.
  • Fixed 3D rendering issue when doors/windows were on the edge of interior walls.
  • Resolved performance issue with snow melt calculations.
  • Fixed issue where Snow Melt areas could become stacked on top of each other.
  • Fixed the units displayed when drawing walls in SI/Metric mode.
  • Expanded the allowable temperature input range for unheated rooms.
  • Disabled outdoor design fields on the Design Settings step when the project has been set to manual heat loss mode.
  • Improved reliability of LoopCAD 1.x project import.
  • Fixed issue when dragging a wall over top of an existing wall.
  • Addition of more diagnostics during application startup.

Two new OEM Add-ons have also been released – one for ComfortPro Systems (www.comfortprosystems.com) and one for WattsRadiant Canada (www.wattsradiant.com). Customers of these OEM’s can now get fully integrated materials list and quotation capabilities within their LoopCAD designs. To update to one of these latest versions follow these steps.

  1. Go to our Downloads page.
  2. Click on the link for the desired version to start the download.
  3. Save the file to your Desktop (or other easy to find location).
  4. Once the download is complete, double-click the file to start the installation.
