We're pleased to announce the release of LoopCAD Version 1.5 Revision 1. This is a maintenance release that provides several fixes and enhancements as described below. It is available at no-charge to licensed LoopCAD users.
What's Changed in 1.5 Revision 1
- Corrected the problem that could occur with imported AutoCAD files when joining circuit parts at a Circuit Entry object.
- Corrected the problem that could occur when parallel walls are drawn at distance closer than the wall thickness.
- Corrected the problem that could occur when modifying the placement of a circuit entry in a direction not perpendicular to the Circuit Entry object.
- Corrected the problem that could cause an imported CAD file to be removed when a new CAD file is imported for a floorplan.
- Added messages to assist with the importing of CAD drawings that are of an unsupported version or format.
- Resolved the problem that could cause the grid spacing to not be updated at the appropriate time.
- Revised installation to register the software components in a multiple-user environment.
- Several other miscellaneous revisions (see Revision History for more).
